Several of us were mentioning this possibility last week but I have to admit that I didnt think this staff was creative enough to make such a move. After all this is the same staff that had Jenkins buried in the depth chart until he finally got his chance due to injuries.:wink2:
Well I was wrong

Good to see the we are open to adapting as needed , let's face it one or two TD's as opposed to FG's could mean the difference between a playoff birth and not.

Question is will we actually see it.

He was a top rated TE coming out of high school and played TE at Oregon before being switched to the defense.
I think he can be a definite target inside the red zone and I'm glad to see that the coaching staff is looking at him as a possible TE replacement while Clay recovers from his injury.Aqua4Ever04 likes this. -

Don't see a full on position switch , but using him like Watt or even more is definitely more than a possibility imo . It could be great use of a player and using your roster and spots very efficiently. Surprised if we don't see him on offence today to be honest.

Kudos to this coaching staff if they are getting creative and finding ways to use the players we have effectively. -
I've been dying for a BIG 3rd down / red zone threat.

In philbin's press conference here the reporter seems to imply he was on the field last week as a reciever. I must have missed that.

Jordan was signaling to Tannehill for a good 10 seconds too to snap the ball, but I guess he didn't see him.

If you truely plan on targeting him, why announce it?
-
i would have kept that thing in the bag for the jets or even the ravens...the game was almost over

Tannehill couldn't have thrown Jordan the ball without him checking in as eligible receiver with the referee and it being announced to the defense.
