Santonio Holmes is a long way removed from being a good football player.

On paper. Let's see what happens come game time.

One game at a time: Your 2016 Miami Dolphins.
A team without leadership, players without heart: Your 2015 Miami Dolphins.
Carrying on a decade plus of underachieving and mediocrity: Your 2014 Miami Dolphins.
Pissing on your dreams and tearing your heart out: Your 2013 Miami Dolphins.

Lindell,Fields,McElvin....

Final thoughts:
1 more year for Pouncey, Jones, Thiggy....

Grimes and Clabo are more deserving than Gilmore,Solder. They're just newcomers. Aquib Talib ?

Keller is the best healthy TE.

Yup, Buffalo has awesome DTs, we may have 4th and 5th best.

Might take Fred Jackson, then Spiller.

Harris,Mayo,Ellerbe are the 3 best, regardless of position I guess.

Also Tebow gets a spot, just cuz.

watching Jackson get the bulk of the carries over Spiller when he returned from injury... thats where. You realize Jackson was primed for a huge season only to get knocked out early week 1, right ?

Spiller is getting picked in 1st round of fantasy drafts. I'm picking up Jackson in the 5/6 and betting spiller gets hurt

Just seemed like they were picking players with more continuity instead of who may have bust out just last year so i was trying to stay with the theme. Judging by last year alone.... some of these guys dont belong. Spiller however has only been fantasy relevant when Jackson has been injured so thats a big part of my reasoning there too.

The only disagreement I have with the author is how he structured the linebackers unit. Based on the style of defense he chose, having David Harris and Jerod Mayo as your outside linebackers seems a stretch.

I wouldn't say that Spiller has only been relevant when Jackson is out of the game. It's true that Fred Jackson got more touches (149) than Spiller (129) when the two played in games together in 2012. But it's also true that on those 149 touches Fred Jackson only gained 654 yards with 4 touchdowns, whereas Spiller gained 940 yards with 3 touchdowns on his 129 touches. And then of course in the games where Spiller played without Fred Jackson, he gained 763 yards with 5 touchdowns on 121 touches.

So he outplayed Fred Jackson both when they played together, and when they didn't. And the games that Fred missed themselves are relevant to the discussion, since Fred Jackson is 32 years old and the Bills (as well as the rest of the NFL) may feel that his missing 6 games last year is not so coincidental.
