I know 2 O's Fans. the rest jumped off a bridge after the Bedard trade. I try to tell them that all will be well if Adam Jones turns into something and they bring Big Tex home. They got some arms in the organization and Matt Wieters will be a top 3 Catcher with in no time.

Do you think he will struggle at all in Seattle? I believe he has given up seven home runs but its not the regular season.
its spring training. i don't think he should struggle to much..hopefully if he does struggle it will only be his first few starts

Way before most current fans' time but I can recall the O's being a dominant team, with Ripken and Murray, they have been soo bad for soo long, and yet that pos owner just keeps on putting crap on the field.
There's obviously a lot of issues from the owner down to the manager but the biggest issue I see is that their top prospects just regress when they get to the MLB level. What's the reason for it? Wieters, Markakis, Tillman, Matsuz to name a few just never took that next step (Markakis gets worse each year, the pitchers lose velocity) and I think Baltimore needs to identify what exactly is the reason and how to fix it.
I like Markakis though, I think he is just stuck in a rut over there....that kid is a pretty good ballplayer....
He's just not the same player he was in 2007 & 2008, he's in his prime right now yet his numbers just aren't as good. My question is why? What's going on and why, especially with his power numbers. He's still a useful player but this is just typical with the Baltimore system, it's just a bunch of talented players regressing for unexplained reasons.
I really think it is the culture they have over there....it is a ban-box too they should be able to hit for number in all catagories...
Exactly, the ballpark, especially for a LHH, is a great hitter's park. There's just no explaination as to why Markakis' power numbers dipped so much.
