Do You Agree With Fantasy Rankings For Phins Players? (NFL.com Fantasy Rankings)

Out of curiousity I peeked at NFL.com's fantasy draft board of the top 200 fantasy players. Miami's top guy is at #53. It's Reggie Bush.

    He is behind:
    Arian Foster
    Ray Rice
    LeSean McCoy
    Ryan Matthews
    Chris Johnson
    Darren McFadden
    Matt Forte
    Maurice Jones-Drew
    DeMarco Murray
    Jamaal Charles
Trent Richardson (with knee surgery #2)
Marshawn Lynch (by this point I start asking "Really?")
    Adrian Peterson
    Steven Jackson
    Michael Turner
    Ahmad Bradshaw
    Fred Jackson
    Darren Sproles
    Doug Martin (Wow.)
    and Frank Gore

Is that about right or are they underestimating Reggie? I think Reggie could pass half those guys one you factor in passing and return TD potential. I can't argue that he's the highest player from our team. He has the best combination of potential in this offense (run, catch, punt return) as well as certainty of touches. Chad Johnson, Naannee and the receivers are question marks in terms of their snaps and roles, plus they rely on QB performance that is unsettled so far.

Our next guy - Daniel Thomas #147
    Chad Johnson #155
    Davone Bess #188

Someone's gonna get a steal in Legadu Naanee.

You guys agree with the rankings?

In PPR Bush might be ok there, but it's still too high for my liking.

I'd avoid everyone but our Defense and Bess in pretty much any league.

Daniel Thomas too high. I want to say Lamar Miller should be projected higher, but he's sitting behind an older version of him in Reggie Bush. The reason Bush is lower than those backs is because of the perception that we're now Green Bay and won't be running the ball much.

THe reason he may be that low is because of a variety of factors. Crowded backfield, injury history, and we have no idea how many runs he will have in this new offense. THink about it, who was the last explosive Packer HB to get a ton of yards and be valuable fantasy-wise? In my fantasy team I have decided to draft Bush if I can when it comes to my 50-ish pick and to draft Chad Johnson with a 15th round pick or so. Little to know risk but I feel he will explode this year

I'd say depends a lot on the league, but I don't think that ranking is outlandish considering all the RBs Miami might have when the season starts. I don't draft Dolphin players unless I can get a deal. I wait for the guys people sleep on and take them in the later rounds. Haven't drafted a Dolphin high since I thought it was a good idea to handcuff Ronnie and Ricky back in 2009.

I hate most things NFL.com as well but I really can't argue with what you posted of that RB list either.

Our offense will just likely be too balanced, and that's not at all what you want with FF.

No real problems with the rankings. I'll wait until I watch some preseason games to set my rankings, but in general offenses like NO and GB (who I think we're emulating) don't have high ranking fantasy players outside of QB. They spread the ball around too much and will have different top performers each week based on the match-ups.

Plus the whole 6 points per TD thing might serve as a slight detractor, too.
