I thought I saw an option/wildcat look today in 11 on 11 drills with Jarrett Brown QB WVU.

Honestly given the differences between NFL defenses and NCAA defenses, I think it's almost useless to see how a player runs the wildcat against other college players in a game. If anything it's something they would probably do in practice.

i could see them using Joe Webb as trigger man and Dexter McCluster as the Wildcat.

No, I don't think there is a lot of value to it. There is no inherent Wildcat skill

considering 90%+ of those defenders will be NFL defenders in the near future.....i dont see why its useless....

That doesn't mean even 1/3rd of them will be good NFL players.
And if you think that running an NFL defense in practice for a short time is the same as really running it vs an NFL defense with NFL players....I dont think.Colmax likes this. -

I totally agree with you in the sense that it will never be the same, but it is simulated to run like the NFL, so from that point of view, I can see every reason to run it.
Does not matter the quality of the players playing, it is the fact that they are going to play in the NFL (some), so IMO, it is important to show all of them what might be seen if/when they get in.
