A contract extenstion doesn't jeapordize Crowder's starting job. If Crowder and Dobbins both play up to the best of their abilities, Crowder will be the starter.
Interesting. Perhaps he has shown enough to convince the coaches that he is worth an extension. Good for him!!
Or that they plan on moving their LBs around, Dansby playing inside and outside, thus the need for the #3 ILB to play a more significant role.
How you doing bro? Dobbins signed his tender with the Chargers for one year at a little over 1 million dollars. This was the very smart thing to do. If he plays and has a great year, then you have to pay him a lot more money and or risk losing him.
I'm great man!! Thanks for asking. Hope you are doing well buddy I think he will have a good year. I don't know too much about him but I think he will be good for us.
The thought that they signed Dobbins for two years and just didn't leave him hanging in the wind to finish this year. They thought enough of Tim to give him and extension to come in and compete.
``I want something more than being that special-teams guy,'' he said. Perhaps the Dolphins do, too, seeing as how they signed Dobbins to a two-year extension this week. Kick coverage and return units will be part of his job description with the Dolphins, but there might be more for Dobbins. ``What I watched out here on defense is I've seen a guy that is really smart, has a ton of energy,'' Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said last week, ``and I've seen him adjust into this system pretty well, which is not a whole lot different than where he came from. ``I think that he's going to be a guy that's going to be able to help us in the ball game right now. I'm not sure about downs or packages or any of those things, but I can see this guy being a guy that's going to play a lot of plays in the game.''
