Muckretired_adminOPFor nearly 10 years, the Miami Dolphins have been waiting for the next Dan Marino. They may have found the next Don Shula instead. Not bad for a coach many dismissed upon his hiring as a puppet of head honcho Bill Parcells.
Though he’s only halfway through his first season, and though his team stands at “merely” a .500 record, Tony Sparano has already exhibited traits which, if continued, should lead franchise back to consistent prosperity – and which were the hallmarks of the halcyon days of Shula’s leadership.
Make the throwback uniforms permanent!
brandon27subscriberSparano is the real deal to me, not just a stinkin parcell's puppet. This team is giving 110% on every play for him so far. Also, you can see improvement. Not just in the team, but in individual performances as well. That starts with your coaching staff teaching guys to do things the right way. He's also got this team beleiving in him, his staff, his system, and in themselves.

That is definately Sparono's team. Another Shula....he has a long way to go for that. He runs a tight ship that's for sure.

I am honestly looking forward to the future with this guy. I really can't believe I'm saying that after I did so much bashing this off season and beginning of the year. We still have a whole half of a season to go but I think that they have put to rest any qualms I might of had coaching wise. This is a good coaching staff. It feels a little better walking around with my Dolphin gear on and not having a bunch of poo talked about them. That was getting old.
