Well I'd just like to step in here and note the following:

Camarillo is not Wes's replacement. Just because they share the same number and some other qualities doesn't make Greg his replacement.

Ginn stepped in to become Miami's No. 1 WR = Chris Chambers
Camarillo is the other WIDEOUT. Miami's No. 2 WR = Marty Booker

Our replacement for Wes last year was the pathetic Hagan and maybe for a few plays Camarillo.

This year our permanent Wes replacement in the SLOT is Davone Bess.

BESS and WELKER play shockingly similar. They are MUCH more similar than Welker and Camarillo.

Bess and Welker are both small, quick guys that don't have the straight line speed. They both have glue for hands, run good routes and get open often. And similarly they are both punt return men.

So far I love what I see out of Bess. It's exactly what I saw out of Welker in 2005. I think he can develop into what Welker has become.

Bottom Line: For a team in COMPLETE rebuilding mode, NO I do not miss Welker. I think we got good value for him with Satele and I think we replaced him adequately. We got younger value, and that was the most important thing when it comes to the 2006-2008 Miami Dolphins.
