Have we had many players drafted the past 3 years who didn't make the list?

The fact that they haven't met with WR Tory Smith from Maryland makes me question Ireland's "flip every rock" mantra...Not very thorough IMO.

Stupid question, but one I'm not sure about:

Why private workouts for some? It seems there's pros and cons for or against it. Is it a time thing? A player request thing? A keep the opposition guessing thing?

PS, you guys should always include the following in your lists and mocks:

    LS - Chris Cordero

Limits. Teams are limited in how many prospects they can bring to their facility. Some of these are private work outs at the player's home school. Others are simply evaled without bringing them in. It is a good way to hide your interest.

Boomer, you have been at this for awhile with Ireland running the show, at a glance it looks as if:

    -Qb
    -Wr
    -Rb
    -OLB

Were the most examined groups of players is there a correlation between Ireland looking at a larger number of players at a given position and where they go in the draft? Do they tend to take someone from the most looked at groups generally speaking?

I'm not KB, but I personally don't think there's any Wallace this year.

Isn't that kinda like "bombing the mosque" ala "Four Lions"?...

Yeah, it's an obscure reference to a British movie comedy about four bungling, wanna-be suicide bombers who live in England. Anyway, they're discussing what they're going to bomb...

Back on point, the strategy seems a little too counter-intuitive. I hope they don't go full ******...

I'm sure we DID send people to North Carolina. I just never had it verified. ;)

Ed - I don't know the answer to a very good question. However, it's clear we need a QB, a TB and a speedy WR so.....
