"Richie Incognito: “I think when we’re hitting on all cylinders I think the identity is a balanced attack"

"Nolan Carroll: “I think for us it’s getting off to a fast start"

Considering how good Tannehill is off play action, and the potential of Lamar miller, with the elite speed on the outside, I'm all about the balanced approach..switch it up with the spread and some zone read but otherwise stay balanced.

An offense ran more like what you saw from GB when Sherman was there. Lamar Miller actually has more potential than Ahman Green or Ryan Grant though. Dion Sims is pure Bubba Franks. Hartline/Gibson = Driver and Wallace is that amazingly talented Walker kid that crashed and burned. Tannehill even looks like a bigger, stronger, faster, Favre. By no means will we do things the Mike McCarthy way. Philbin & co. will always have a back ready to step up and move the chains. There will be a plethora of Tight Ends and the fullback will have a vital role.

Basically what you saw from Baltimore and San Fran last year. Balance is vital. Even the Patriots & Packers are learning that.

That's the angle I wanted to talk about but I guess most took it as a puff piece..

I really like how Greg roman runs that offense, there's a power running game in there along with that zone read, gore and that line are really good..they have the talent to attack a team depending on their weakness against the pass or run, and to me that's the goal and why you don't abandon balance.

Great answer. I'm glad Philbin is making everyone aware of this.

We need a 2-0 start like real bad, the love affair with the Heat right now is gonna make it tough to energize the fanbase, I feel like this fanbase has no patience unfortunately, and I don't want it to get ugly in that stadium.

Those first five games are brutal. They could easily start 1-4 or even 0-5. And if that happens...bye bye playoff dreams. But if they can get out 2-3 even there is still hope. Especially if the two w are Indy and Baltimore. Cleveland will be a tough out but we should win that one also. If they can win all three AFC games its off to the races. If they can trip atlanta or new Orleans. I'm booking a trip to NY.

uh-oh. I hope no one was positive about the upcoming season and/or talked about their goals. We wouldn't want the "Show Me On The Field" Gestapo to come out and full force to quash any and all optimism/hope/saying-the-same-thing-all-players-in-all-sports-say-but-somehow-its-a-sign-of-weakness-if-our-players-say-these-things.

1-4 and 0-5? WTH? With our preseason schedule, we should be clicking by opening day... We open against the Browns in Cleveland. When did they become a strong team? Not saying to take them lightly, but no way in Hell we lose to them. We open 1-0 and build off that.

Stomp a big mudhole in their *** and go from there. I doubt we lose to the Browns. Might be close. Dolphins 30 Browns 17.
Yep we will put up points early.

Fun, that's the kind of game where we evaluate Ryan Tannehill and determine what we have..That's a big grandiose atmosphere, I wanna see how he plays in it..I think we hang in that game myself, their defense is suspect.

I think Cleveland wins the AFC North this tear actually. They look a lot like us right now. Young and hungry.
