RIP Debbie. She was designated Dolphins Mom around here especially in the early days. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to her family. What a sad week for our forum friends, we're losing too many originals. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
I remember her being so excited to see her first live Dolphin game at Atlanta a few years ago. Too bad she had to see a loss. Super sweet lady.
She mentioned her age in a message to me a few years ago and my memory says she was a few years older than me. That would make her mid-60's??? Since this came indirectly, I have not seen anything. Do we know her full, real name? We could search if that information is available. I would like to do that. If there is a funeral home guest book, I would really like to send the family a note from myself and from this site regarding how much Debby was loved and respected around here. I would hope they would like to know that.
Through someone else I discovered her full name and that she was buried Tuesday from Creekside Baptist Church, LaGrange, GA. I reached out to the pastor asking for a forum for us to send notes to the family or alternatively for the family to come here and read our condolences. I will let you know if/how he responds.
Sorry to hear this, guys. She would come by and visit us at Phinfever in the chat room looking for a game feed. She was a sweet lady, a die-hard Dolphins fan, and she loved ThePhins.com.
She always pm'ed me asking for me to explain what people meant when they were joking or being sarcastic before being offended haha! She was so sweet and loved her grand babies! rip Deb
I dont know for sure but she did suffer a stroke as recently as last year. In fact she couldnt type for some months and visited as a lurker .RIP SweetLady .She had a picture of her grandchildren displayed on her avatar.
I have gotten no reply from the pastor or the congregation. Tried phoning and never got anyone or a return from my message. Not sure the pastor's email even is valid. No updates on their website in a long time, though that is not uncommon for congregations. If I hadn't seen in the obit that he had done the funeral, I would wonder if the congregation is even still open.
Sad. As everyone else has said, she was very much a positive spot on this website. Loved her grand kids immensely. Goodbye Deb
Wow very late, didn't even know til FFIC dog. Very sad, she was very sweet, positive person on the boards. RIP
No idea this area even existed. I wondered why she hadn't posted in a while. She always did a great job of cooling me down and trying to keep me positive, haha. RIP Deb. You're missed.
Thats a bit harsh. That sight was made to make fun of everything and everyone. Yes sometimes it goes too far, but most of us one of them being another member who passed Bry, mean it in jest. Respect the memory of Deb, but no reason to curse the living.
