Tough to play the position when you have all that going against you in your rookie and 2nd year

McDaniel explains that Teddy Bridgewater's answer at his intro presser was very professional "for us to explain, not us." McDaniel further says that at the Combine he was describing, unbeknownst to us, Teddy to a T.

Side note - Several teams have live video feeds of their conferences. Would be nice if the Dolphins had one too.

Coach says there's probably some overlap with Tyreek Hill's usage compared to what they did with Deebo Samuel in SF. Says both players are exceptional with the ball in their hands but Samuel's role was one that developed over time.

Coach says the speed of the player's they added was a nice bonus -- says the priority was good players and the fact that they're fast means they can probably do a little extra with that.

To be fair, the offensive staff also had nothing to build on and their main job was to ensure Fitzpatrick wasn't killed on national TV. I couldn't imagine building an offensive staff when you have no offense and the front office is going to bench anyone who gets in the way of losing.

Winning football games at any level comes down to winning in the trenches.

Which is a laughable theory given that Fitz was the only who could get in the way and he didn't get benched.
