If this turns out like a dream come true this will be one of the greatest draft day deals in Dolphins history. Only one better would be Marino falling and that had nothing to do with the Dolphins Think about it: Cost: move down five spots Return: Starting MLB (potential pro bowler) Best OL in the draft, right there that's a BIG win. Anything we get out of Maxwell, I think it will be significant, seen it, will be gravy.
I think it remains to be seen whether Tunsil is the best lineman in the draft. I hope he is our long term answer at LT after Albert retires. It's enough to say we got a really good Olineman
I'm a little bit skeptical of Alonso. He isn't someone you want taking on blockers, and this defense is trying to keep that from happening a different way than Buffalo did when he was successful. They covered up the interior three offensive linemen in a pretty frequent Bear front, the Dolphins are going to spread things out and make him a moving target.
He certainly was at the time of the draft. What the future says who knows, I'm just talking about the cards in play on day 1 of NFL draft. And if they come away with three, or even two out of three of the players acquired being pro-bowlers it will be the best draft since ever since for us.
