The Miami Dolphins Foundation has announced that money raised from the team’s auction of rare orange jerseys will now go to relief efforts in Haiti. Fans can bid on these game worn authentic jerseys, worn by players in the Dolphins’ home game against the New York Jets on October 12, 2009. The jerseys will be listed until Wednesday, January 20th.
The Jets game marked only the third time in team history that the Dolphins wore orange tops, giving collectors a rare chance to buy a unique piece of NFL history while contributing to the relief efforts in Haiti, devastated by last week's 7.3 earthquake.
