I know. That's why I said separate trusting their data from trusting their recommendations. I haven't once said here trust their recommendations. But you should have overwhelming evidence to the contrary if you're going to attack their data.

No, I don't...because you're not seeing the full picture here. There are government lobbyists for everything- EVERYTHING- and big pharma getting richer doesn't really change the scope of things pre-COVID. Same for WalMart and Amazon....they were dominant before, and they're dominant now. The wealthiest getting more wealthy isn't a transfer of anything.

For the transfer of wealth- who was the biggest loser here? You might say small businesses, but the government actually paid for the entire pandemic and handed each of us checks for $3-4k total. The US clearly lost wealth in this ordeal and I think if you look closely, they lost power as well.

You mentioned kickbacks so heck, let me offer you one. I'll pick a random item in my office and sell it to you for $20, but as an incentive I'll give you a $3 kickback if you buy 500 million items. That is not anywhere near in the government's best interest. Maybe some corrupt politicians cashed in but that's the larger point- they were already cashing in on big oil and tons of other industries that were halted by the pandemic. There's not even a net-gain for them here.

You can say "dishonest" and "truthful" here as if I said anything is a lie.

You keep bouncing around and not answering the question because you don't have a good answer.

Why is your standard for evidence of a covid death so low but your standard for evidence of a vaccine death is so high?

What??? We pay the government! That's our money being devalued! They funneled it right back into these nu-monopolies. It's becoming increasingly difficult for anyone to compete with amazon and their basically instant shipping and lowest pricing.

Amazon and Walmart gained a ton of value, Amazon is now in pharmaceuticals and grocery do you not see where it's going? Moderna went from 5b to 100b. You can downplay it but all that small business money and all those "free checks" went right back to amazon and whoever was allowed by big brother gov to stay open.

You said 12k deaths were reported as being due to the vaccine. Its not accurate and you know it isn't.

I am not even arguing with you on the covid deaths. I will tell you I can't say with confidence what the covid death number is.

I am saying you have to fight inaccurate info with accurate info and you aren't.

Yeah I get that it sounds crazy. Are you familiar with the Georgia Guidestones? Are you aware that there are people in positions of power in this world who want to reduce the world population to 500 million in perpetuity?

You are aware that our own government has over a century of experiments on our own citizens? Tuskagee experiments, for instance. Your belief that the government wants to keep us safe and healthy is just not true. The government doesn't care about you.

With the move to communism that is occurring, how can you continue to believe that the government wants anything but total control? A population in fear is a population who can be controlled and manipulated.

We've been in a giant psychological campaign for the past year and a half.

The government may have lost money...but the people IN the government DID make money, and ARE making money off of this.

Money and power are incredible motivators.

    Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

NFL to fine unvaccinated players $14,650 for any violation of COVID-19 protocol

    11:36 AM ET
    Jenna Laine
    ESPN Staff Writer
Unvaccinated NFL players will be subjected to a fine of $14,650 every time they violate COVID-19 procedures.

A spotlight was put on the punishment after a report that Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians would fine a player "$14,000 on the spot every time he isn't wearing a mask or is breaking a protocol."

The article did not directly quote Arians and did not specify whether it was a team rule or a league rule, leading some to speculate that Arians was instituting this fine as his own personal rule.

"NFL policy," Arians told ESPN in a text message. "League rules."

League spokesperson Brian McCarthy confirmed to ESPN that Arians "was correct" in his understanding of the NFL's rule.

The stipulations place a premium on wearing appropriate PPE and offer restrictions on the number of people and types of venues players may gather in for both social and team-related purposes.

Arians believes the Bucs will have close to 85% of players fully vaccinated by final cut-downs. Some players have voiced resistance to the vaccine, however.

Running back Leonard Fournette, whose 448 yards from scrimmage was the most of any player on any team this postseason, tweeted Thursday, "Vaccine I can't do it."

Antonio Hamilton, a newcomer expected to provide depth at the cornerback position, called the vaccines "experiments" in a tweet and said, "If they get rid of me for sharing information to the misinformed, then so be it!"

Arians said the Bucs have not brought in any doctors or vaccine specialists to address the team as a whole, which Ron Rivera did with the Washington Football Team but said doctors have been made available to address player concerns individually.

Should they still choose to not receive the vaccine, Arians said, "Just follow last year's rules."

The Buccaneers, who visited the White House on Tuesday and got their Super Bowl rings Thursday, open training camp Sunday.

    Hey, I've been there!

Drove past and figured I'd stop.

Btw, for anyone interested, these are literally the most underwhelming things on planet Earth. Not hidden at all, but also not immediately accessible from the main stretch of highway nearby. Virtually everyone just drives past. They are definitely not a secret. You'll see a couple signs for them so they're easy to locate if you know what the heck the signs are referring to. They're way out in the country though. Nothing around to do. Nothing exciting or remarkable about the area. They're located adjacent to other properties (all fields, woods and brush).

It's lonely standing there, like the feeling you get if you're ever been to some now-irrelevant confederate battle field. It'll hit you that there are so many places on earth where nothing much ever really happens or where things just get abandoned. It feels like that. It's got the sort of depressing feel of a place that could easily be vandalized but also has the protection of being kind of too far and too obscure to bother with. It's bleak. I will always remember that feeling.

It was the same feeling I got driving through the expansive openness of the west and seeing small buildings no longer in use along the infinite stretches of highway. It's not a feeling of death or depression as much as an acknowledgement of the seemingly infinite expanse of the lifeless desert. It's more akin to the quite and solitude expressed in the Pale Blue Dot.

Anyway, the take-away here is that these are most certainly not a thing.

"141 are in hospital with covid at present, 43 in intensive care, 18 of who require ventilation...... All but 1 are vaccinated"

99% of hospitalizations are not vaccinated? I doubt that.

Well I'll be honest here, even if the league is 100% vaccinated its not going to stop people in the league from getting it. I know this because I'm currently dealing with covid. I played a gig last weekend and the day after the singer told us all she tested positive. Found out that day after. She was not vaccinated due to health concerns and previous difficulty with other vaccines. I had gotten my first shot and was waiting for the second. Two other guys that played that night were fully vaccinated. All three of us caught it. So I can tell you all with certainty it is nit going to stop anyone from catching this thing.

Personal note we all seem to be doing fine, i've never felt that I had anything more than a mild cold and the other two vaccinated guys have been about the same.

But again, it's not going to prevent any of us from getting this.

    AMERICA!

Thanks for sharing and happy to hear you're doing fine friend. I got my second shot a few days a go, mostly due to media fear mongering I suppose and pressure from loved ones.
I have no false illusions that this will keep me from getting it or spreading it but supposedly will lighten the symptoms should I acquire it.

Well, lightening the symptoms means you're less sick...which means you're spreading it less and for a shortened period of time...which means other people also get less sick or don't get sick at all. That's how we've had a massive drop in cases.

I got my jab, not because I have a ton of faith in it but because after losing my Dad, if I can reduce the chances of making my Mom sick by 1%, I'm doing it. I still wear my mask to the store, church and any place where I'm likely to be in the company of strangers. The only thing I stopped doing that I did before is double masking, with a disposable mask underneath a cloth mask.

Who thinks that knowing someone's vaccination status is akin to divulging private health information? Nobody's informing others that a player has Diabetes, cold sores, or is missing a testicle. This is neither a HIPAA concern nor a privacy issue. Divulging that someone didn't take his jab because he has a comorbid condition and informing others as to the nature of that comorbidity is an example of an employer violating privacy.

I'm on the fence with that myself. My wife works in a living center for the disabled and it's common knowledge that 11 patients there are vaccinated, one is not. But the staff was forbidden to tell anyone who's who because her employer was informed from the state that its a HIPPA violation to disclose that info.

However, big twist here....they also have one staff member that's not vaccinated and they were allowed to tell family members that information. I honestly don't understand the double standard and I think it's wrong. Either make it public info or keep it confidential, but be consistent about it across the board.
