Plus we grew at some of those positions while still being competetive, we got some young players some valuable playing time, other than Ronnie I dont feel like losing the other guys was TOOO bad.Larry Little likes this. -
They haven't been fighting for anything.
They've lost their way out of a playoff spot this month period.
They are a 500 team at best with a win next week.
Point is that they are in the playoff hunt simply because of a lack of any other 2nd tier AFC teams stepping up rather than anything the Phins have done to "fight" for a spot.
All I'm saying is that the title of that article is a big piece of amusing spin regardless of who they've lost considering how they are finishing. -
We didn't come back and beat NE? We didn't fight back against Tennessee and Houston? Its not like the team folded up and quit. We certainly have been competitive. If you listen to what the Titans had to say after that game, they essentially said were one of the most physical teams in the league.Larry Little likes this. -
I still see it as being pretty amusing when a teams website writes an article claiming the team is overcoming things to fight for a playoff spot when they are 7-8 after losing 2 out of 3 games in December against other .500 ballclubs. You really don't see just a wee bit of spin there?
I'm not knocking the team, they are what they are at this point.
The packaging of that article is just a bit absurd for my taste.krypto likes this. -

You can fight all you want and not overcome which is exactly what they've done.
They have not overcome because they are not winning.
The only reason they are staying in the playoff race is because other teams are failing to take advantage of their opportunities as well. This really isn't an important issue so I'll leave it at that. To me it's just another example of sad media, that's all I'm saying.dolfan7171 likes this.
