I have always liked Nat Moore. He is a class act and brings a lot of common sense to the table.
I guess we can add this to the continuous rearranging at Dolphins HQ. There seems to be a ton of restructuring going on. I wonder what they are up to??

Any thoughts?????

Good post Cobrajet.
I wonder if they are getting all of the pieces in place before Parcells leaves? Gee I hope not. I know we need some talent but I can't figure out what is going on with the executive re-arranging.
Very odd.....cobrajet and dolfan7171 like this. -
I have a few thoughts. Hopefully he'll whisper in the ears of those in charge to either trade for a primo WR already available or draft one high. Not saying #1, but just sayin'...

Let's hope your wrong about Parcells and his half full bag of groceries.cobrajet likes this. -

Lets not push the panic button – but - I must admit that I am a little curious as to what is really going on.
Listed below are the ‘non player’ transactions that we have had at executive positions within the past two months.
3/12/10 Dolphins Name Nat Moore Vice President/Senior Advisor
2/1/10 Named Dawn Aponte Sr. Vice President of Football Operations
1/19/10 Named Mike Nolan Defensive Coordinator and Bill Sheridan Inside Linebackers Coach
1/11/10 Terminated the contract of Defensive Coordinator Paul Pasqualoni; Announced the resignation of Bryan Wiedmeier, Senior Vice President-NFL Affairs and Special Projects
There is a ton of restructuring going on here. I think it’s clear that someone high up is not very happy. It also seems clear that they are serious about building a winner and they have the balls to do it.
Go Dolphins! -
And Ross may be taking a bigger role to bring in people he may like as well.
Edit: This may not be a bad thing if these people are better for the team. I certainly am happy about the Nolan pickup. -
Met him when the Fins played in London , really nice guy who talked for ages to anyone who wanted to talk to him :D

I am very excited about the future of this team and think that our best days lie ahead. I hope Parcells stays around long enough to see it happen and to share in the glory. I can't imagine Parcells leaving because he now has what he always wanted, a team with no one to answer to and everyone below him doing exactly what he says without question.
It does concern me that his contract now reads that he can leave with full payment of his contract anytime he wants. With these massive organizational changes going on it does kinda have my spider sense tingling.
I guess we are always paranoid of our greatest fears in life, and in the world of the Miami Dolphins losing our big Tuna is what we probably fear most. I suffered though Shula leaving, I don't want to lose another football genius needlessly.cobrajet likes this. -
If bill leaves, I'm perfectly fine with it. He put the pieces in place for us to be successful, if he leaves we'll be ok.

Tuna is one of the only guys that I would put near Shula's caliber. His knowledge of football makes Bill Bellicheat look like a midget league coach and his influence of greatness will rub off on the rest of our coaches. Lets just hope he stays long enough.
He's pretty committed to Tony and the rest of his friends/coaches that he has gathered so I think he hang around a while. (as long as no one bugs him that is) The best thing to do with BP is love him and leave him alone.cobrajet likes this. -

Not a fan of his.Met him up in buffalo and 3 three times I asked him for his autograph and he blew me off.Even went as far to mock me and 3 other other people for asking for his authgraph went some lady walked by.
Kim bowkamper was thankful when I asked for his and didn't show a cocky attitude like moore. Its a shame because moore was one of my favorite players of all time until I met him. -

Nat Moore has always been a class act, and I couldn't imagine a better candidate for executive VP of the Team.
As more of a Ross hiring than that of Parcells, in my mind his stock just went up, and outside of his maintaining a virtually seamless transition of financial latitude as granted under Huizenga, it could represent the best move yet by our new team owner
...even if he just rubber stamped it.Larryfinfan likes this. -

I wouldn't get too excited about any of this... If you want to get excited, talk about the lack of activity in filling our need positions, so far... -

First, the Tuna could have left anytime in the past season (since Jan 09 when the story first broke) so if he does leave, it's of little consequence to the clause in his contract that pays him if he does. Second, Parcells has never, ever...ever completed a contract in the NFL. Not in NY (G or Jests), not in NE or Dallas. Left Tampa Bay sitting with their thumbs in their butts and nearly didn't take this job a couple of years ago after agreeing to it. What makes us think he's going to complete this one ?? It should surprise no one if he takes off after the draft or sometime this summer.
I think he's done one thing well so far here....he's let Tony and Jeff become their own. In fact, I no longer refer to the grouping as the trio, troika, trifecta, or whatever. Tony and Jeff have both done fairly well developing under him and if he left now, we'd still be ok. Obviously, he has influence still over personnel and if he were gone, we'd miss that. (I guess what I'm saying is that he has the clout to attract good players, that perhaps Tony and Jeff don't on their own, due to his rep around the league...)
One thing is inevitable, he's leaving us...probably sooner rather than later though...
