With Zach out, we don't need him out. Miller and parker will eat us alive!

That's where he has been playing, and not half as good as Thomas. Although he has gotten better the past few games.

My guess would be Abe Wright, but I doubt he'd play if Pope is out. I'd think Spragan would start.

Any word what happened to Pope?

And Crowder will be fine at MLB once he's comfortable enough to not out-think himself. Right now he's hesitant at game speed due to unfamiliarity.

But if Crowder has one thing going for him besides size, it is superb instincts and an unerring nose for the ball.

He may never be as good as Zach, but seriously - besides Urlacher, which MLB in the league has been as good and as consistent as Zach? Crowder is what he is, and a lot of teams' Defenses are very good without a monster MLB, as long as the other LB's are decent.

That's where the emphasis needs to be in the draft, IMO; ILB and OLB, if we are moving toward a 3-4...which, I sincerely hope we are. The only position I would consider more important in those terms is NT.

I like the kid on Special Teams, I forget the name. He's got hustle and seems to possess good instincts.

And still no answer to what happened to him from the team? Sounds real fishy to me.

Perhaps he was made ill by our being winless on the year. :shifty:

Sounds like it might be something as innocuous as panic attacks. Innocuous if treated properly, dangerous if not.

Or maybe a "private" issue, like hemorrhoids or something like that. :blushing:
