So Wilson is a bad tackler and that made Bell a worse player how exactly?

I can't tell you how many times I screamed about Renaldo Hill and Chris Crocker.

Is it me or does it seem, that right now, our best DB's are Smith and Bell. Wilson and Allen seem to be struggling.

Hill was more consistent in coverage, but not a great tackler.

having hill in our secondary was like having a coach back there. he put everyone in their alignments and it was made public knowledge, how great his impact was on our secondary last year. he was a huge reason they played so well. (did we forget how amazing our secondary was last year?)

and further proof of hill's worth is the job he is doing in Denver! we should not have let him go. he can cover, and he may not be the most physical guy in the world, but he gets all 4 or 5 DBs playing at a higher level. we are truly suffering after his departure.

now we have nobody back there raising our game.

Hopefully Clemons can become that guy. He was known as a heady player at Clemson.

Denver has played crap teams. Let's not be to quick to give Hill props when he playing the level of talent he is in denver.

True it was the same calibur team we played last year, but you start putting him up against Rodey White, Gonzales, Gates, Clark, etc.. I wouldn't like his chances.

Wilson wasn't the right guy, but that doesn't, by default, make Hill the answer either.

It does seem like our secondary has digressed and Wilson was supposed to be an improvement. He hasn't proved his worth yet and has proven to be a liability rather than a strength. IMO Bell hasn't been playing that well either and as a result it has made the secondary look all that much worse. I guess Wilson is this years Wilford.

for the personnel we had, what they accomplished, and the way they came together and played was amazing. all teams will allow some pass yards, but they def. over-achieved.

I always liked Hill. Really smart player. I think the ACL slowed him down but he was still pretty decent. Better than Wilson so far.

    Damn. :/
