“It’s a tremendous opportunity for the Miami Dolphins to be involved in coaching in this ball game,” coach Tony Sparano said. “You get the chance to spend an awful lot of time with these kids right now in a bunch of different settings, the classroom, out there on the field, get a chance to see how they learn and see how they take information from the classroom to the field.”
Sparano said the Dolphins jumped at the chance to coach in the game after several AFC teams declined the chance to do so.
