Not a fan of the Henne pick, he likely would have been there in the third for one thing. BUT-hes inconsistent, very innacurate. 59% or something like that, not good at all. On th plus side, hes a 4 year starter, and a big physical tough guy. Theres lots of tape out there, the brain trust obviously see something. Gotta wonder if Beck is on the table somewhere now though. Reports are we like the guy, but then why take a round 2 QB? Still, at least we got Merling at 32 and didnt jump the gun on Henne there. Hopefully Justin King or Dan Connor is there in round three. Also look for a DT like Red Bryant or Frank Okam, or OL like Anthony Collins or Jeremy Zuttah.
Rotoworld's take on Henne. To compare: Henne has a stronger arm than John Beck. Beck is more athletic and accurate. Both were highly experienced college starters; Henne started all four years. Because Henne played in a conservative Michigan offense, we feel he could become a more productive QB in the NFL. The camp battle will be intense, with Josh McCown likely on the outside looking in.

Connor is still possible if the Giants pass him up and I think McCown wins the QB job in training camp with Beck likely getting a start sometime during the season. JMO
