    interestingly enough you can substitute the words "until the sale of the Dodgers and Clippers" with a number of different phrases and the statement would still be pretty accurate.

    "when he realized he let Ireland blow a general manager's dream worth of resources"

    "after thinking he could force Ireland on Bill Cowher or Jeff Fisher or John Gruden"

    "when his unjustified loyalty to Philbin resulted in him having to settle for his 9th choice to fill the GM opening"

    "after mistakenly thinking he could fly to the opposite coast and desperately court a guy to be his team's head coach despite the position not being vacant at the time and it wouldn't be that big of a deal"

    "after agreeing to Gator Day"
