I just noticed this, but in 2009 the Dolphins were the 2nd highest paid team in the NFL, after the Giants. [Both missed the playoffs]. In 2010 we will probably pass the Giants, I think. [They still have porter/wilson/taylor on our side, but dont have Marshall on it. They did add Dansby]. The 2009 team was at $126,855,921 before Dansby. Vernon Carey and Jake Grove make a ton of cash.

They better make the damn playoffs this year.

And who knew the Cowboys had one of the lowest? The Patriots, Falcons, Vikings all are pretty low and great teams too. Of course, it's not THAT huge a difference from top to bottom[80mill to 136mill] like other sports aka MLB.

The 2010 payrolls will be interesting since there is no salary cap, and we will most likely top it. The Jets will probably take a rise into the top 5 also.
