For those of you scoring at home, the Miami Dolphins have turned the ball over nine times in their last two games that counted. Coming off a five-turnover performance in last year's playoff loss against the Baltimore Ravens, the Dolphins coughed it up four times on Sunday, facilitating a 19-7 stomping at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons, which looked much worse than the final score suggests.

As bad as that sounds, what's even more concerning is the fact that the usually steady and efficient Chad Pennington is responsible for six of those nine turnovers over this two-game span, including two against the Falcons on Sunday. That's simply unacceptable for a quarterback with clear physical limitations that lessen his chances for connecting on long, game-changing plays.

Give it a quick read and let me know what you think. Thanks!

On the surface of things you can always blame the troops, although in Long's case he was a true weak link yesterday. I feel the truth of this matter is somewhat deeper if you will but look at the two underlings of Mr. Sparano. One, the DC, is a buzz saw yet the other, the OC, is somewhat reserve in his play calling (and that is putting it nicely). We see Ginn open time after time and we hear about Penny's arm being sooooooooo weak yet there is NEVER any attempt to even try a throw, WHY? The question begs Henne to be the guy yet he's not and IMHO yesterday he would have been even worse behind that O line and our #one bust!
The DC took what he had and game planned quite well IMHO. I only wish I could even hint at the OC doing anywhere near the same.:pity:

Pennington is a bust, Henne is the RealDeal

    blah, blah, blah:taz:blah, blah, blah
the answer: start ChadHenne. the understudy is the better QB & is our only chance of saving this season
the problem wasn't the Offense Line & Special Teams, it wasn't missed blocking assignments, dropped passes & fumbles. the team played well & would have won had Henne been @ the helm steering us to a sure victory
with his laser passing ability, Henne would have put Matt Ryan to shame in that shootout.
    what were we thinking?:tantrum:
wonder if it's too late to dump Pennington or would it be better to keep him in case Henne is injured
blah, blah, blah:deadhorse: blah, blah, blah

get serious  the offensive line is the problem

and as it goes so goes our season

The OLINE was the problem for sure. Pennington had ZERO time. Jake Grove was getting pushed around and don't even get me started on Long that was just sad...

actually Grove had the best game out of the five linesmen
for a unit to play that bad has to be a concerted effort
they were pathetic from tackle to tackle, excluding none
thanks to the offensive line, we were never in the game
    they simply surrendered the trenches

    next game shoould be better,
hopefully, by game four they should be hitting thier stride
as goes the offensive line, so goes the season

    simple as that...

Could it be that Henning doesn't have any confidence in Pennington as to why he has such a vanilla offense and doesn't even try to utilize Ginn?
We all know that Parcell doesn't mence words and isn't afraid to hurt someones feelings so if this continues might we see some positional coaching changes such as OC and ST before the year is out?

This idea is flawed because Henning has Sparano's ear and if he felt Henne was the best way to go IMO the change would have happened good try though!
