Thought this was an interesting response when answering whether any rookie QBs in this year's draft could come in and start right away "I think it's pretty hard to do. I really do, and I've seen some good quarterbacks come in in some of those situations. But yeah, I think there are some guys that have the ability to come in and start," he said. "Certainly in our situation when you're a young team, putting a young quarterback out there is not a bad thing in those situations. You get some questions answered early, one way or the other."
Adam when are you going to remove that Matt Ryan Sig? Just give it up were not drafting a QB 1st overall. Btw your burning Matty Ice
I'm really glad that Sparano finally said something about our qb situation, and something about drafting one. "He's probably thrown 1,000 balls a week, somewhere around there." It's hard for me to believe that they'd waste the amount of time, that this must take, on a player that they intent to replace. Also, this part of the Q&A says to me that they're not really thinking qb at #1. "We have a lot of issues in the draft that we have to address, so if we get to a point during the course of the draft and there's somebody there we think can help us it might be an issue for us," Sparano said when asked about the possibility of selecting another passer.
His work ethic impressses me, too. It's his ball handling and poise under pressure that doesn't impress me so much.
