Wonder what the NFL will do this weekend as memorial?

 

Not to sound cold-hearted, I'm really not, but I never understood why society shows more love to an individual once they're dead, but never anything while they were alive.

 

You don't truly miss someone until their gone.

Hence don't take anything for granted always tell your loved ones that you love them because it might be the last time you see them.

 

There is supposed to be a moment of silence before every game this weekend in memoriam.

 

I don't mean to sound cold hearted, but why is everyone feeling sorry for a guy that Jumped into the back of his wife's truck, and then fell out of said truck? I feel bad for the guy's family, but to feel sorry for him? I can't do it. Guy brought it on himself doing something stupid, so i don't feel much sympathy.

 

Well a couple of things.

Was she driving recklessly? Did she intentionally try to throw him out of the truck? Sure it was a stupid what he did but he was 26 years old. I don't want to speak for everyone but don't we all do stupid ****? I'm sure he was thinking she would possibly stop the car love does crazy things.

 

Because from all reports, he was actually trying to improve his life. We all make mistakes in life, we all do stupid things that we look back on and say "What was I thinking". But, a human being lost his life in a tragic accident and it does not diminish us as people or a society to say that we feel bad for him, his family, team mates and friends.
