http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3190912 Interesting read on why we moved so quickly on this.
This is my favorite part of the article. "He has a blueprint for success in developing quarterbacks and is widely recognized for his teaching and coaching acumen." In Lee's four years with the Cowboys, three quarterbacks threw for 3,000 yards in a season. A fourth, Tony Romo, went from being an undrafted college free agent in 2003 to a starter in 2006.
he was with the Cowboys from 03-06, then was with the University of Arkansas, running the offense and QBs. hmm, i wonder if that signals anything about Darren McFadden. i hope not, we are pretty set at RB...but ya never know.
another great part of the article: Coach Cam Cameron was fired Jan. 3 after one season with Miami. Most of his staff was also fired, including quarterbacks coach Terry Shea.
Thank you Miss Mary. If I ever have any more girls, I might just name her after you...so her name would be AZNJFINFANMANG
Sorry for the hyjack, miss you in the Chat..not the same without you..Hope all is well.. Okay, we resume this station to its regular program
I totally agree with that article and the fact that it points out the importance of good coaching. As I have said in other posts I dont believe draft picks are as important as people make them out to be. Obviously the players must have the physical skills to be capable of competing in this leauge but what and how they are taught IE coaching is what gets you results on the field.
