The Miami Dolphins today signed defensive end Kendall Langford, their third-round draft choice this year, to a multi-year contract. The Dolphins now have signed all but two of their nine 2008 draft choices.
Langford was a four year letterman (2004-07) and three year starter at Hampton, and became the first defensive lineman to earn three consecutive All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference selections since former Dolphins defensive tackle Ike Readon (1987) was named All-CIAA from 1983-1985. Langford registered 236 tackles (110 solo) with 23.5 sacks for minus 175 yards, 56.5 stops for loss and 39 quarterback pressures during his collegiate career.
