So along with WR Jennings the Phins picked up two veteran OL - Jeff Linkenbach (G/T) and Jacques McClendon (G), formerly of the Chiefs and Jags, respectively.

They appear to be depth moves, (Dolphins say "position versatility")so a new starting guard would still be a wise move. At the very, very least, we can say that there'll be some extra competition for the guard spot, and these two seem to have longevity on their side, which is nice.

Will be interesting to see how things develop at this position, because from the perspective of that one big hole at guard, this is a real opportunity, if someone has the drive to take hold of it.
