Adrian Hubbard is a long shot. But it would be nice to have a 6'6", 257 lb OLB who can run down the field with TE Rob Gronkowski.

Sheesh. did they have to go there?
Thanks. Thanks alot. -
Let me ask you... if you hire a similar guy.... and you're the same guy who 'knew' what to do with the first guy who got screwed up, and apply your same mentality to training this second guy... what's the most likely outcome?
(By the way Sal is Dion Jordan... and in this case Chris McCain, who is bigger and more sluggish now, is Sam.... Hubbard will, I guess, be Stan. lol.)calfishman likes this. -

And we're definitely not applying the same mentality (having a guy roid up 20+ lbs, and have him play DE).
Adrian Hubbard is a free tryout, not a 3rd overall draft pick.
In fact, this is what Chris McCain looked like in college. He never had the legs or build to be a full-time SOLB.

Dolphins Working Out LB Marquis Spruill

"ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Dolphins will host former Falcons LB Marquis Spruill for a workout on Monday.
Spruill, 24, has three years remaining on his four-year, $2,391,480 rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $435,000, $600,000, and $690,000 over the next three years.
Spruill unfortunately was placed on season-ending injured reserve last August after he sustained an ACL tear.
The Falcons wound up waiving him a few weeks ago.
Spruill has yet to appear in an NFL game."77FinFan likes this. -
