I say I have to agree with the ones they selected. We need a TE badly. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/63706/miami-dolphins-stock-watch-6
Tannehill and the defense would be my top two 'trending up' picks. Tannehill this preseason: 56 Attempts 34 Completions 377 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs 60.7% Completion 98.58 QB Rating Not too shabby... he's been solid. I can't wait to see him in the regular season. He and the defense have a legit shot to carry the Phins back into the playoffs, IMO.
The feeling I get about the D this year is it will be BIG PLAY time..................both ways. They will MAKE big plays, and GIVE UP big plays. Hopefully we will make more than we give up.
Its a big play league so that goes without saying. I think we got the pass rush when Jordan is back and the CB's to limit it.
Giving up a big play isn't nearly as painful when your D creates turnovers and opportunities for the offense. Plus, our D has been strong in the redzone. Not too worried about giving up some plays here and there. however, The defense creating turnovers may be the difference between between playoffs and the outside looking in...
Martin had a meh game. He inexplicably stopped blocking a play for the 2nd game in a row. And he looked tired through the 2nd. Turner has to get on that. Right now I have not been impressed with his OL work.
For the record, I realize every team gets and gives up big plays. I am expecting our season to be filled with more than, what would be considered, usual.
Looking at it from the start of the preseason, that was more of an adjustment of a stock that has improved. He is still way higher than he was then and doesn't show signs of going back. I guess it matters when you're comparing from. Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2
I see. Yes if we're looking at it as a stock watch from prior to preseason to now, then yes Martin's stock has gone up as a whole.
John Jerry's needs his arrow to be pointing up after the last game. Hopefully he will get in game shape soon and help out the Ol.
