Nice of them to have the Dolphins best player come a long with them!

They should include Ireland in the group and provide the ticket holder with a paddle to beat him with. That would be a real jesture of appriciation.

They've been doing some of this kind of stuff recently. I dated a girl whose father had season tickets for something like 25+ years, and when he cancelled them they had Nat Moore call him. I don't really blame him for not renewing in that case.

In all seriousness, this is very cool. And very awesome of Fields to do. Punter or not, he's a big part of our team, and it would mean a lot to long time dolfans. (I know I'd love to meet him at my work or house) Kudos dolphins.

1) We suck so bad players have to visit fans to keep their season's tickets
2) But they don't get Reggie Bush, or Tannehill. They get the Punter. Typical Phins. I bet the other players' agents were like, "No ****ing way"
3) But then again, the punter is the best player on the team, so again, this is good.
4) But, holy ****, the Punter is our best player.
5) Full circle, back to Holy ****, we suck so bad.

lol.
I just think it's humiliating for our former players and current players to shill products. Maybe they could sell peanuts in the stands at halftime to get concession revenue up.oakelmpine likes this. -

Bruce Allen (Redskins GM) visited the tailgate party of my buddy's with Redskins tickets one week. Sadly, it was a week when his wife and sister-in-law were using the tickets so he didn't get the earful he would have gotten otherwise.
It just occurred to me that Bruce Allen was totally trying to swoop in on two eligible women 20 years younger than him!
Seriously, this is a nice gesture and is probably more related to the tough economy than the team's record. -

It's a nice gesture, and really good of Brandon Fields. But would anyone else find this awkward? "Oh, heeeeey Brandon Fields. What's happening?" I mean, it looks good on paper but it could get weird really quick.

You make it seem like Fields was like "Hey, wheres the master bedroom? Got some orange juice?"unluckyluciano likes this. -
But can you honestly say with a straight face that if this was actually a surprise you would find nothing awkward about this? Let me paint a picture that may or may not be accurate -
Let's say you're at home in sweatpants getting ready to settle in for a nice long bender of video games. Maybe you've even had a couple drinks. Wife is in the other room watching the mother ****ing bravo channel or something like it. The kid is having a good time playing with his Christmas toys. All of a sudden a knock at the door. You open it up and there's TD running around like a jackass and Brandon Fields. Along with some publicists looking to snap a few pictures. "Oh hold on a sec guys, we all have to get dressed in our Dolphin gear." You leave them on the doorstep, get dressed, get some pictures taken. Then there's an awkward few minutes where you have a fake conversation with Fields. And you try not to let your wife catch you gawking at the cheerleader who at this point couldn't be anymore disinterested in the whole scene.
See what I'm getting at? On paper it looks good. In practicality, it could be more of an awkward inconvenience. But maybe that's just me.
All that said, I'm sure there was some prep work done to make sure this family would enjoy the experience and it looks like they legitimately enjoyed it so that's cool. Also looks like they had a little notification so the scene I painted might not be entirely accurate. -
I see it as a positive. It was a good gesture and the people *****ing about it are saying more about themselves than about the team.

I wear sweatpants WITH my dolphins jersey. My son would be playing with his miami dolphins train. And my wife would be watching greatest superbowl moments. and would probably invite the cheerleaders in for some group sex.
Sorry your life sucks. But that would be ****ing awesome if they knocked on MY door.Jt0323, 2socks, MonstBlitz and 1 other person like this.
