FIXED COUNT. Chad Henne [15] Chad Pennington [55] Davone Bess[15] Ted Ginn [39] Ronnie Brown [72] Vontae Davis [18] Will Allen [11] Gibril Wilson [9] Sean Smith [11] Ricky Williams [11] Lousaka Polite [7] Yeremiah Bell [12] Patrick Cobbs [9] Channing Crowder [7] Joey Porter [10] Justin Smiley [6] Donald Thomas [6] Kendall Langford [10] Vernon Carey [13] Jake Long [39] Anthony Fasano [10] Greg Camarillo [8] David Martin [6] Cameron Wake [9] Jason Ferguson [6] Phillip Merling [11] Matt Roth [11] Tony Sparano [7] Jeff Ireland [2]
Aaand on that note: Chad Henne [15] Chad Pennington [55] Davone Bess[15] Ted Ginn [39] +++ Ronnie Brown [73] Vontae Davis [18] Will Allen [11] Gibril Wilson [9] Sean Smith [11] Ricky Williams [11] Lousaka Polite [7] Yeremiah Bell [12] Patrick Cobbs [9] Channing Crowder [7] Joey Porter [10] Justin Smiley [6] Donald Thomas [6] Kendall Langford [10] Vernon Carey [13] Jake Long [39] Anthony Fasano [10] Greg Camarillo [8] David Martin [6] Cameron Wake [8] --- Jason Ferguson [6] Phillip Merling [11] Matt Roth [11] Tony Sparano [7] Jeff Ireland [2]

hey, my bad about adding 2 to Ginn yesterday. it was an honest mistake. i've always been one of the first to correct the count, even if it meant negging Ted, or boosting Ronnie.
My post wasn't intended to be smarmy. Sorry if it sounded curt. Moreover, my post was not in error. I merely took the post before mine, and changed it with my vote up/down correctly. I also fixed the error I caught where the post before mine didn't take into account the votes immediately before his. (The post before mine added to 445, so I took it as correct, with the fix of the previous vote missed by the poster). I'm always very careful with my voting.......I wish others were. I appreciate your hard work on this thread.
Updated count. Please for the love of god revise your votes if somebody snuck a vote in. I can't keep spending this much time fixing this. Chad Henne [15] Chad Pennington [55] Davone Bess[15] Ted Ginn [41] Ronnie Brown [72] Vontae Davis [18] Will Allen [11] Gibril Wilson [9] Sean Smith [11] Ricky Williams [11] Lousaka Polite [7] Yeremiah Bell [12] Patrick Cobbs [9] Channing Crowder [7] Joey Porter [10] Justin Smiley [6] Donald Thomas [6] Kendall Langford [10] Vernon Carey [13] Jake Long [39] Anthony Fasano [10] Greg Camarillo [8] David Martin [5] Cameron Wake [8] Jason Ferguson [6] Phillip Merling [11] Matt Roth [11] Tony Sparano [7] Jeff Ireland [2]
Hey, let me know when Teddy takes over a game the way Ronnie did last year in the fourth quarter with the game on the line! Oh that's right, he's the future... until he dominates the way Ronnie did last year at the most crucial of times, he shouldn't be receiving any votes.
Your post was part of a large string of ignored votes. Whenever you make a vote you have to check and see which vote was ahead of yours. After you submit that vote, you have to check and see if that vote is still the last vote before yours. If it's not, whether 1, 2, or even 3 votes were submitted while you were voting, you have to revise your count. Or, even easier, delete your vote and vote again off the current count. Just because the count totals 445 doesn't always make it correct. If votes were ignored, it's still off. Sorry I'm getting testy, but with more and more people participating it's getting hard to keep track of.
There should be an add-on to the message board software that allows these types of survivor votes... like a poll... would be an easy intigration of new software says my non IT mind...
Ok guys sorry for my meltdown. Just trying to juggle work and maintaining the count and it's getting tricky. I'm thinking about adding a penalty system in place for messed up votes. Not to be a jerk but to add an element of accountability to the game. Maybe something like 3 messed up votes = a day in the penalty box without voting. But I'll give it a day or so and see if we can get back on track before making any rule like this official. I was expecting this game to get easier as we went, but I think more and more people are playing making it harder to keep track of. More people is a good thing, but we'll all have to be more careful voting.
Good thought......might be hard to enforce/track however. The time saved by penalizing careless voters might be offset by the added work of tracking/enforcing this penalty. Biggest problem: Voters need to check the previous post AFTER you post your vote.....to ensure no others snuck in a vote simultaneously or right before you.
oh, you mean like how he dominated the Bills? you mean like how he made two insane catches (flea flicker, TD) against the Jets, and was the difference in the game to win the division? Ted Ginn had the same amount of 30+ yard runs this year as Ronnie did. Please make an excuse for that. Ginn: 5 carries, 2 of 30+ yards Ronnie: 214 carries, 2 of 30+ yards
Hey man, sorry if I've contributed to the errors in anyway, like everyone else on here we really appreciate all your hard work & time on this
You guys need to settle down about Ginn vs. Ronnie, IMHO. I hope Ginn busts out as a top 10 WR this year. I think he's showing progress in 2007/2008, but he's not there yet. He needs to keep improving (which he hopefully will) to take the next step. However, Ronnie (so far) is a vital component of our team (past and present). He can be a stud barring injury (which has been his main knock so far). Here's to hoping BOTH players are STUDS in 2009.
You are comparing a receivers running stats versus a running backs... I thought I'd seen everything, but I was wrong...
Does that include the fumble against the Ravens in the playoffs? The one that put the nail in the coffin of any comeback attempt??
You guys really need to calm down. So what if they give negatives to a player in a freakin FORUM GAME!?? Seriously? it gets you that worked up? Its not like any of us hate Ted Ginn or Ronnie Brown. We all want to see everyone on our team contribute and be a Top player in their positions. If someone is voting for Brown or Ginn let them play the game how they want instead of criticizing them just because you feel one player is more Dominate than the next.
Chad Henne [15] Chad Pennington [55] Davone Bess[15] Ted Ginn [40] - Dispite the fact he is one of my favorite players on the team, he isn't one of the top 5 top contributors. Yeremiah Bell played better last year Ronnie Brown [73] + Vontae Davis [18] Will Allen [11] Gibril Wilson [9] Sean Smith [11] Ricky Williams [11] Lousaka Polite [7] Yeremiah Bell [12] Patrick Cobbs [9] Channing Crowder [7] Joey Porter [10] Justin Smiley [6] Donald Thomas [6] Kendall Langford [10] Vernon Carey [13] Jake Long [39] Anthony Fasano [10] Greg Camarillo [8] David Martin [5] Cameron Wake [8] Jason Ferguson [6] Phillip Merling [11] Matt Roth [11] Tony Sparano [7] Jeff Ireland [2]
IMO it's not just Ginn vs Ronnie, it's Ginn versus: Pennington Jake Long Joey Porter Y. Bell Ronnie Brown Davone Bess Players that deserve to be Survivor 2009 over Teddy...
its not a fumble if he never has the ball to begin with. Chad turned the ball over 4 times in that game. I dont think we want to go down this road, for the sake of the Chad fans.
Chad Henne [15] Chad Pennington [56] + Davone Bess[15] Ted Ginn [39] - Ronnie Brown [73] Vontae Davis [18] Will Allen [11] Gibril Wilson [9] Sean Smith [11] Ricky Williams [11] Lousaka Polite [7] Yeremiah Bell [12] Patrick Cobbs [9] Channing Crowder [7] Joey Porter [10] Justin Smiley [6] Donald Thomas [6] Kendall Langford [10] Vernon Carey [13] Jake Long [39] Anthony Fasano [10] Greg Camarillo [8] David Martin [5] Cameron Wake [8] Jason Ferguson [6] Phillip Merling [11] Matt Roth [11] Tony Sparano [7] Jeff Ireland [2]

The debate is half the fun! I'm happy to see it start to heat up. As long as nobody takes it personal it's what makes the game fun. Ginn will be tough to beat in this game. Ronnie might have more fans on this board, but not as many that will consistently vote in this game day and night. I love Ginn but agree that he doesn't deserve the title this year. But the person who "deserves" to win is the person who gets the most votes. To take down Ginn there will have to be just as passionate an anti Ginn movement. We'll need our own version of "The Untouchables" to take down the Ginn Mafia!
i just like how a lot of the ted ginn mafia is voting +s for ginn, but aren't taking away points from ronnie and chad-- yet the ronnie and chad, uh, what was the word, 'fanbois', take a vote away from ginn as oft as possible.... now i ask you, where is the bias i like ginn, and will continue to vote for him, but i'm not about to take a vote away from ronnie or penny or anyone else great on our team right now
Chad Henne [15] Chad Pennington [56] Davone Bess[15] Ted Ginn [40] +++++++ Ronnie Brown [73] Vontae Davis [18] Will Allen [11] Gibril Wilson [9] Sean Smith [10] ----- he's still a rookie one way or the other Ricky Williams [11] Lousaka Polite [7] Yeremiah Bell [12] Patrick Cobbs [9] Channing Crowder [7] Joey Porter [10] Justin Smiley [6] Donald Thomas [6] Kendall Langford [10] Vernon Carey [13] Jake Long [39] Anthony Fasano [10] Greg Camarillo [8] David Martin [4] Cameron Wake [8] Jason Ferguson [6] Phillip Merling [11] Matt Roth [11] Tony Sparano [8] Jeff Ireland [2]
The Bias is against the Ted Ginn Mafia. It is like going against an evil empire. If you ignore them, they are going to blow up some buildings.
Yeah, me and Gish go way back with our debates... to someone that isn't used to it, it may look out of line. But neither of us take offense to it. Untouchables.. I like the tone of that... or The UnTEDables?
i seriously debated just now photoshopping a bunch of ted ginn's into an afghani desert cave setting... but... too much time, and i don't want this moved to PoFo
a vote for ginn is a vote for perseverance and relentless dedication to excellence. thats what Ginn embodies as a player, and thats what the Ted Ginn Mafia has attempted to emmulate.
I have actually given votes to other players besides Ronnie and Chad. I doubt any of the Ginn Mafia has given any votes to someone other than Teddy.
yeah if there was no ted ginn mafia the only votes you'd see me post negatively towards him would probably only be at the end of the game. but there is, so there ya go
