-- Just watched Lydon Murtha pancake Jason Taylor. He's pushing guys around today.
-- Edmond Gates caught an in-route on Vontae Davis. Chad Henne on the throw.
-- Chad Henne threw a nice slant in the middle of the field to Davone Bess for a 20 yard gain during 7-on-7.
-- Pat Devlin hit Clyde Gates in the endzone during 7-on-7 but Gates dropped the pass.
-- Jared Odrick and Tony McDaniel seem to be a good pair. I wonder where Phillip Merling fits in.
-- John Jerry is being tried out as a starter on the flipside.
-- I totally forgot that Jason Taylor brings value to the team as a long snapper on special teams.
-- Clyde Gates just split a CB and S for what would be a TD pass. He can run the 9 route with ease.
-- OG Ray Feinga, who was working as the starting RG the first week of camp, is sitting out his third practice with an undisclosed injury.
-- Dolphins CB Will Allen has joined the rehab crew.

So, Murtha is stepping up. Nice.
-
Not sure why so many have been down on murtha. His blocking wasn't a problem because of actual skill it was more awareness from what I remember.

Coral Reefer, smahtaz and Bpk like this.

As I said in the other thread, Chad Henne has put together a couple of solid practices in response to the boos and chants. Good for him.
Ophinerated, smahtaz, and 4 others like this. -
- Gates drops the most important one to catch. Nice. I'll hope that's just rookie nerves, trying too hard.
- Will Allen having physical probs? If so, goodbye Will... you won't be on the team come Sept. (this is also the best news Benny Sapp has heard since the start of camp) -
We need to use the speakers in his helmet to constantly play Boos to Chad. -

Jt will get cut because he got pancaked?? Seriously? Poor logic. He also got a sack on his first rep of this training camp. In a limited role the guy is still insanely valuable. If he gets 5 sacks this year that is VERY helpful.
