Yea, they pretty much own this franchise.

They've beaten us up, no doubt, but if close counts, every game has been down to the wire with the outcome in doubt well into the 4th qtr....

On the other hand, that's not very comforting is it ??

I still remember the first loss. I think it was capped off by Jabar Gaffney taking some slant rout for an 80 yard TD or something crazy like that. At least I think that was the first loss. Hoping to hell we can finally beat this team this year. But it won't be an easy win, that's for sure.

Wasn't that the 1st game of the season where we were like a 16 point favorite or something in '02 or '03 (I believe R. Williams was on the team) and we were responsible for about 10 million people losing in their suicide pools?

It was in 03. And it was the season opener in Miami.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this season will be the first time in the last three games we will be playing them in Miami and not Reliant Stadium.

we were unprepared for them.. I was so pissed I gave away the 6 other tickets I had for that season, and refused to buy anything Dolphin until H.Wayne dumped Wanny.. I even made a 4x8 sign out of plywood for Wayne to see when he made his once a week cruise over my house on gameday. He had just bought the marina next to me and would come check it out on his way to the stadium. He was the first chopper up and flying over the river after Francis and Jeanne. THe worst part is they have actually been drafting well and getting better. They will be no easy task again this year.

One of the losses Ricky took a 60 some yarder to the house and it was called back by the most BS holding call Ive ever seen. Then Jay threw one of the worst picks Ive ever seen...

If im not way off i think we are the only team in the league never to have beaten the Texans. I could be wrong though.

In 02, David Carr was sacked 1,456 times, in the opener, he only took a 3 step drop most of the time and we never got even close to touching him.:sad:

Interesting note..We play the Texans, who we've never beaten. We also play the Panthers who have never beaten us.

We play them in Week 16 this season, so we'll be focused unless we're out already which I hardly doubt

A good friend of mine is a die-hard Texans fan. He laughs everytime our game is coming up.

Its the ONLY week out of the season he laughs. :pity:

You're right. And I think to make it even more depressing, if I'm not mistaken that game ended an extremely impressive streak we had going with winning season openers. I wanna say it was at 9 or 11 games.
