Sounds like the TE position is being hit hard right now. Clay is out, Egnew is being treated inside and Hoskins got shaken up and is being treated on the sidelines.
I think Nate Garner's roster spot isn't particularly safe. He's relatively expensive in terms of cap hit, and them signing Fox, Satele, and Colledge doesn't really suggest they've got a lot of faith in him. I'd prefer they keep Brenner over him, personally.
I agree, if anyone is going to be cut it's him. Most likely with Brenner taking his spot and whoever that UDFA Center is on the practice squad.

Lot of injuries today... I personally think it's moronic for the guys to be in pads after a day off, after a scrimmage, in the second week of training camp. Body reacts differently after going full speed for several days, and then a day off, and now full speed again in pads. I'd pull the entire first team defense off the field now since they are the heart and soul of the team. opp... too late, Starks limping off.
seems like the defense is jumping a lot of short / medium routes. Time for the offense to pull some double moves and throw deep. Or just throw deep!!?

From all reports it looks as though the starting defense took it personal that the starting offense had a good scrimmage when they weren't in there..lol I'm sure you'll hear dominating from a few.
I can't wait to watch preseason just to see these types of guys show up on special teams and make a case for a roster spot. Always fun.

offense has picked it up in perhaps the final session of 11 v 11's... with ones v ones... maybe Coyle gave his D too much praise in that little meeting prior. They've taken their foot off the throat of the O.
It's looking like our pass defense is going to be very good this season... our run defense is the big question mark right now, let's see how they do in the preseason games.
