http://twitter.com/ArmandoSalguero I suspect Miami is not done trying to find their KR/PR. I think Miami will try signing Justin Miller who they were interested in last year when he was released by the Jets.
Jacoby Jones has been shopped around, Roscoe Parrish survived cut down day and Justin Miller...mum is the word. That leaves Mark Jones and Ryne Robinson. Unpretty indeed.
I hope we are holding off signing Miller until we decide if any of our players can be snuck onto the practice squad, that would create the roster spot we need to sign J Miller. but keep in mind Clifton Smith came out of nowhere last yr for the Bucs, I'm sure Irish took notice of that fact.
Or trade someone for a draft pick, there are bunch of scenarios, but anyway we slice it, 140 hours or so until kick off in Atlanta.
Accordin to Salguero Martin was placed on IR. Drew took Martin spot. If we were to sign Miller we need to let someone go and I sure as hell hope it is not Hilliard, Walden, Moses, or Dotson. My guess is Miami would let go of Jason Allen, but who knows.
I think Davon Drew will eventually be added to our PS or cut. I just doin't see the reason to have a guy who doesn't even know our playbook on the roster. I have a feeling Miami claimed him to stick him on the PS when the other 32 teams settled on their PS
Eh, blind squirrel=nut Occasionally, Figurs was ideal because he not only would take Ginn off of kick offs and Bess off of punts, but he replaced Brandon London on kick coverages and best of all as a third year player, he worked really cheaply. At this point, I am beginning to doubt we bring anyone in though, there is very little practice time between now and Sunday and Sparano likes to trust a player before he puts the ball into their hands.
