And rightly so. Players shouldn't be working on their craft and/or studying offensive/defensive philosophy at team facilities during this off-season. They should be out shooting up stripclubs and raping teenagers.
Kind of a misleading thread title. The way I understand it, the investigation was over when Henne admitted to it. They have been fined and it's done with.
If this investigation leads us to losing a draft pick, Henne should be shown the door at the earliest possible moment.
eh if it was for something other then trying to get better at his job I'd agree with you. Even if what he said was stupid, showing him the door under these circumstances is a bit much.
Have been fined or told they're under investigation means that if what Henne said was incriminating, we've already been fined. Wow, sometimes some people.
Seeing that Miami was the first and only team mentioned a while back it might make sense that they were the ones fined.
New Offensive Coordinator. Perhaps as many as 4 or 5 new starters on offense. If the only penalty is $$$ out of Ross pocket I think it is well worth the fine.
If we lose a pick over this, then it's more proof that Goodell is way too inconsistent in the fequency and severity of the disciplinary actions he takes.
I'm not ready to fault the quarterback of my team for trying to grasp the new playbook. In the unlikely event we're docked a draft pick, the problem is with the league [not Henne], because to quote Chris Rock, "That ain't right." Besides, the meeting was more than likely the idea of Sparano/Daboll.
NFL VP Jeff Pash said yesterday afternoon that Miami was one of the teams fined. It's done with, thankfully.
Funny thing if you remember Oz you used that same image with me when i first joined the site in '09. Might have been a Taylor thread can't recall but I know it had to do with me *****ing about the LB'ers.
It was the skinnier one i have not this one. But here, I'm playing around because I actually guessed correctly. You mearly insisted you were and the season had only a few games under it's belt.
