http://miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/ big game on sunday, Philbin coching for his job, rex coming in with his new team, need to win at all costs to start the beginning of a new culure, if the fans think that they can help with a couple thousand seats being moved coser, they will scream louder..
Just imagine how wound up SunLife would be on Sunday had we had two good wins over Washington, and Jacksonville. If we had a good game last week and dominated, you would have seen SunLife with more energy then you have seen in a long, long, long time. Now fans are resigned to more of the same, uninspired play. There may be allot of energy to start the game, but if we fall behind early, that place will die, and die fast.
The only hope I have is the unrealistic hope that for some reason Miami has been holding the offense back not wanting to show too much until this game.
the defense has been much worse than the offense. I'm hoping that the defense shows up for a full game.
I Makes zero sense to hold back anywhere ,anytime , against anyone. They didnt hold back against Jacksonville , they just got outplayed by an inferior team.
I agree wholeheartedly this game is huge for many reasons , including making a statement that were not overhyped underachievers. Some will argue that its only game 3 so its no big deal and not a must win. This game is huge, no reason to down play the significance if we lose.
Well, here's how I see it. For the first two weeks, both the offense and the defense fell flat. Yet somehow, we still stole a win and lost the other game by 3. So if either group manages to show up this Sunday, we have a fighting chance of getting a opening home victory.
Here's a question: how has the stadium looked and functioned for UM so far? Any noticeable difference?
