Per Tim Graham.
Big back that was set to start for Denver last year before fracturing his elbow. Comes back midseason to start one game. Gets 12 carries for 68 yards and a TD before tearing his ACL. Got an injury settlement in August.
6-1, 225. Due diligence move IMO. Unless somebody's nicked and we don't know it yet.
Practice squad eligible.

This guy was good at ASU....I watch a lot of ASU games as an alum and he was good and had speed he just kept getting injured.

Shanahan thought highly of the guy before the injuries.
I like him -
Lets see we are deep on rb's and have issues with our wr's, this doesn't make sense.
-
if healthy he is much better than hilliard....but he does not play special teams from what i know

oh he plays inside linebacker, wr, safety, tight end??? no?
oh he plays the same position as our deepest on the team......oh ok. this makes sense.......Firesole likes this. -
It makes perfect sense. They want to spell Ronnie even further. If you only limit his carries in regulation, he's that more fresh in overtime.
C'mon people, get with it!Tone_E, SICK, Frumundah Finnatic and 1 other person like this. -
Well, there is a next season to plan for, if he is healthy next preseason or later this year if we have an injury it is good to know what sort of shape he is in and if he has kept up his conditioning while being out of work.

Either it's an agent favor, or we're looking for a replacement when a RB for WR trade goes down.
-
we are taking measures to protect ourselves going into FA next year ...

Its nice to see them being proactive rather than reactive. If he is a good prospect and can be placed on the practice squad then it is proof they are being dilligent.

I agree with Muck, due dilligence. The day you are satisfied with the talent level on your roster should be the day you win the Super Bowl IMO.
