I don't want to be an idiot, but I really don't know," Thomas said. "It's just an administrative decision right now with this rotation. My understanding is when I get in here every day, I see where I'm at."
Sparano recently praised Thomas for his work ethic and devotion to his craft, which includes texting DeGuglielmo at all hours seeking technical advice. However, Sparano also noted the need to give Thomas a "breather" as he enters "uncharted territory" in his first full season.
A freak ankle injury has ended the season of offensive tackle Lydon Murtha.
Murtha, signed off the Lions' practice squad on Oct. 20, turned his ankle on the final play of Wednesday's practice. Initially the injury was not considered serious, but overnight his status changed.

i think they're honestly being careful more than anything.
his play could also not be exactly where they want it but he's not a slouch in the trenches. this injury could help him see more time.
"A man's suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus, suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering great or little. Therefore, the "size" of human suffering is absolutely relative." - Viktor Frankl
We rotate healthy players more then any team I have ever seen. Honestly I have never heard of an offensive line rotation when all your guys were healthy.
Health is everything. Good move by Sparano.
Headcoach material wouldn’t want to work somewhere they’re not trusted with actual football decisions.
The Guards aint really getting it done. Thomas is still raw, and Smiley has injury issues that might give him an early exit here. Its also worth mentioning Garner/Gardner(I forget which) has been pushing for playtime anyway. They initially worked to get him as a tackle eligible in short yardage situations.

I think Saban did it at some point too but I don't remember what players.
the dolphins should at least be honest with the guy
watch they will do something stupid like they did with roth and release him

I wonder if this is what they do in the future with injured players, rotate them around.
Win, Lose, or Tie, I will be a Dolphins Fan Until I Die:up:
i don't think they have any intent on releasing Thomas ... it could be something simple like execution, such as a particular blocking assignment that he keeps blowing. I don't think it is anything physical, just working thru the mental grind ... remember he got hurt last year - so this is truly his rookie year.

Saban rotated Vernon Carey, Stockar McDougle and Damian McIntosh at tackles.

Holland is a huge upgrade over McCain
I want to be alive, I am alive! Alive, I tell you! Mother, I love you, those are no longer just words. I want to hold you, I want to run in a stream, I want to taste ice cream but not just put it in my mouth and let it slide down my throat but really eat it. - Robot Morty
Donald Thomas being rotated is because he must be fed grapes by beautiful women every once in a while..

Wayne McDuffie rotated entire OL at FSU in the early eighties.. The Kentucky Derby Offense.
The Noles were primarily a option running team back then.
