Donald Thomas deals with 'administrative decision' by Miami Dolphins http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...(Miami+Dolphins+/+South+Florida+Sun-Sentinel)
i think they're honestly being careful more than anything. his play could also not be exactly where they want it but he's not a slouch in the trenches. this injury could help him see more time.
We rotate healthy players more then any team I have ever seen. Honestly I have never heard of an offensive line rotation when all your guys were healthy.
The Guards aint really getting it done. Thomas is still raw, and Smiley has injury issues that might give him an early exit here. Its also worth mentioning Garner/Gardner(I forget which) has been pushing for playtime anyway. They initially worked to get him as a tackle eligible in short yardage situations. I think Saban did it at some point too but I don't remember what players.
the dolphins should at least be honest with the guy watch they will do something stupid like they did with roth and release him
i don't think they have any intent on releasing Thomas ... it could be something simple like execution, such as a particular blocking assignment that he keeps blowing. I don't think it is anything physical, just working thru the mental grind ... remember he got hurt last year - so this is truly his rookie year.
Donald Thomas being rotated is because he must be fed grapes by beautiful women every once in a while..
Wayne McDuffie rotated entire OL at FSU in the early eighties.. The Kentucky Derby Offense. The Noles were primarily a option running team back then.
