If taking Bailey in the 4th, nets you a C grade, then whoever is responsible for this rating system needs to be killed....unless it drops him in real life and we can nab him in the 6th and declare ourselves winners of the Draftionship.

Its based on the game's perceived value of what pick you draft a player at. Picking a good player a round or two earlier than where the game's creator coded the value of that player will get you a poor grade. Like the pick below:

Rhodes would probably get a grade of "A" if he is taken at the bottom of round one, but is considered a reach at 16, hence the B grade.

A great explanation Gunner, and it's not that I don't agree with you. But, Rhodes is considered to be one of the top 2-3 corners. Once Millner is off the board, he and Trufant won't last long. And, in my draft, Trufant came off the board in the top ten of all things? So, I actually felt pretty good about taking him at #16. I think he is a legit target of Ireland's at #12.

I wasn't justifying the game's grades on any players, just explaining how I thought it worked. I agree that their grades for several players are out of whack with the general consensus

    Very unlikely, but awesome
Traded the 12th pick for Vikings 23rd and 25th, and used those picks to get Xavier Rhodes and Bjoern Werner

I stopped paying attention to their scoring system but the trade down options were so good .... Another draft I'd take with intense joy. Also, I'd do this in a heartbeat if we traded for Branden Albert with our 2nd round pick (round 2, pick 22) and just substitute Albert for Watson at OT. Of course, then, if Watson were there later on (round 3) I'd nab him as well. I think we'd win a SB in two years with a draft like this! ;)

Don't care how they ranked me, this is my favorite draft to date. I feel pretty good about it too. Definitely think taking Lane Johnson with the first pick is the way to go. Hoping he falls to us next Wednesday, but don't think he'll last. Getting Eifert in the second feels like a steal. Balanced draft, hitting a lot of key areas. Some developmental guys late. Yeah, I'd be pretty happy with this.

This was lots of fun. None of the top players that I wanted were left at 12, so I traded down. And then got several offers for more picks for dropping 1 or 2 spots and took those as well. Got Cooper, Lacy, 3 good corner prospects (trufant, hayden and wreh-wilson), Armstead, Bailey, Washington and Kelcy almost all before the end of the 3rd round. I would be very happy with this draft.
Round 1 Pick 21 (CINN): Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina (A)
Round 2 Pick 5 (CINN): Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 10: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington (A)
Round 2 Pick 21 (CINN): Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff (B)
    Round 3 Pick 1 (K.C.): D.J. Hayden, CB, Houston (A-)
Round 3 Pick 2 (JAX): Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia (C+)
Round 3 Pick 18 (DAL): Cornelius Washington, DE, Georgia (A)
Round 3 Pick 20: Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati (B)
Round 4 Pick 4 (PHI): Cody Davis, FS, Texas Tech (D+)
Round 4 Pick 14: Gerald Hodges, OLB, Penn State (A)

True, but addictive as hell I tell you!

Besides, it really has helped me get a much better understanding of this draft class. At least, the top 100 or so players.
