I doubt we will wait until the second day to go after a WR

I feel that unless the staff feels one of the WRs can step in and contribute day 1 and play as a #1 WR we wont draft one at all unless its another late round development like London.
We have enough 2-3s on our team already, if we cant draft a #1, why bring in another? -
Just wanted to mention that the draftwinds blog column is written weekly by Boomer from our very own board here at ThePhins.com.
He does a terriffic job. He also has a very in depth draft website (with two other members from here, Conuficus and CKParrothead) for those interested at http://www.universaldraft.com
It's really great analysis. Must read stuff.adamprez2003, The G Man, Larryfinfan and 2 others like this. -

What's interesting about the WR thing, is that since the LBer group in this draft class is so deep, taking a WR or CB early won't hurt as much as in past years. I'm sure they'll take more than one LBer either way. I think the surprise pick might be a RB in the 1-3 rounds that none of us really expect right now. I think they have convinced themselves that the 2 back system is the way to go and having the next 'Ricky Williams' on board to learn the ropes, even if it's on the PS is something they want to accomplish...
