    1. Jake Long, Michigan

    Height: 6-7 Weight: 313
    College stats: 40 starts
Vital numbers: 5.22 40-yard dash, 37 bench reps, 4.73 short shuttle

Jake is the premiere tackle in the draft but questions surround him about whether he's a left tackle or a right tackle in the pros. It will be hard to take him at the top of the draft if a club concludes he's a right tackle. A former NFL line coach who worked with Long believes the Michigan product is a left tackle. When you watch him on tape there are some issues about the amount of time he is on the ground. When I asked him about it, he said he plays over-aggressive at times. When he oversets to a speed rusher he can get in trouble when the man crosses his face. There are no questions about his ability to run block, and he has a "to-the-whistle" approach on every play. Draft projection: Round 1.

    2. Branden Albert, Virginia
    Height: 6-6 Weight: 309
    College stats: 37 starts
Vital numbers: 5.17 40-yard dash, 23 bench reps, 4.78 short shuttle

Albert is one of the fastest risers on draft boards. He was originally projected as a guard but things changed when coaches watched his two games at left tackle. A former basketball player who had just one football scholarship offer (Virginia), Albert has the feet and temperament to play the game. He has a punch, can pull and block in space. When he shifted to left tackle, he still made all the line calls. Draft projection: Round 1
