Hold up....waaaaaaaaaait. Chris Mortensen @mortreport · 1m NFL says no agreement yet on drug policy. Still "unresolved issues." One may be reinstatement of players for this weekend. One procedural
These two idiots better of been training their asses off and getting fed info about the gameplan. Activate their asses..oh yeah, nothing confirmed..
I don't know how much of Dion's situational pass rushing would be affected by missing a week of practices. However, Reshad may be a little clueless to this weeks scheme. Ultimately both had their replacements, Chris McCain and Jimmy Wilson, play lights out last week so there's no big rush.
That's one part of this business that sucks. Wouldn't it be nice if the teams who had players lost on suspension would get a roster exemption for each player for a week or two?
Well, if there is a time for the NFPA to staple Roger's nuts to the wall, this is certainly it although I doubt that could be pulled off. Looks like people are coming out of the wood work. I thought he was safe, but if much more comes out, the owners IMO would have a hard time not letting comish go to save face of the league. Fall guy time.
Jordan sucks! This is going to cut into mccains playing time who has showed more in one game than Jordan in 16.
I wouldn't say Jimmy Wilson played lights out. He was about the same. Decent in coverage, makes some tackles, but still good for a nice whiff or two. That said, getting Jones back allows him to move back to the slot CB in sub packages where he was damn good last year in coverage. Makes the whole defense better.
It will be interesting because Will Davis looked really good last week as well (3 catches on 12 targets)…and he looked especially good in the 2nd half. Obviously a good problem to have. That said we should see a bit more this week…Buffalo has much better WRs than NE
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl-nflpa-reach-drug-testing-234555739.html Looks like they can play. For the Miami Dolphins, that means safety Reshad Jones and defensive end Dion Jordan are now back with the team and eligible to play. Both players had been suspended for four games under the league's performance enhancing drug policy; both players suggested that whatever caused the positive test was part of a supplement they took without checking with team doctors.
Presumably Jordan and Jones are both now in stage 1 of the recreational substance abuse programme? That's going to mean increased testing. Anyone know enough about these guys to know whether that presents a big risk going forward? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Not only that, since there has been a game already this week, I would assume that it's going to take place NEXT week, not this one...
http://www.thephinsider.com/2014/9/...-drug-testing-agreement-reinstate-dion-jordan Looks like both have been reinstated. EDIT: Maybe not, should have read the whole article.
Dion Jordan spent his time off in California..hopefully there is a Dline coach out there that he was working with..
http://www.thephinsider.com/2014/9/12/6113065/nfl-and-nflpa-reach-drug-testing-agreement-reinstate-dion-jordan As of 18 hour ago (late Friday afternoon), this still wasn't a done deal BECAUSE of the suspended players. So for now, no Jordan or Jones. That was from the Sun Sentinel around the same time.
If there's no agreement in the next 6 minutes, the players won't be eligible to play until next week.
As I mentioned a couple of days ago the lifting of the suspensions is not the main objective of the agreement but only a biproduct of it ct
Knew that sh@& wouldn't get done, hate these freakin threads, can we delete them all and start from scratch.
Eh no worries...we will have them both back for the Chiefs...and with a weeks practice under their belt. The buffalo game is gonna come down to our O....either way we cut it. We have to outscore Buffalo.....our O has to be able to pick our defense up finally. Its been years and years that our D has carried us.....now the O has to say...OK...its our turn. Were gonna get you a big lead to play with...force teh game on Stewarts shoulders.....and pursue..pursue..pursue...attack attack attack
