New AC looks like a return to form, glad its back in Europe. I hope you can play co-op with one other person (not just 4), that would be swell. New Far Cry looks amazing, I had my doubts about the setting but it really looks like they're pulling it off (another game that will benefit from co-op play). Some indie games I'm looking forward to: Inside, Cupman, Ori and the Blind Forest (was that built on the Rayman engine?), Abzu has a cool Abyss-type feel. Nice to see MK10 is using that x-ray feature that Sniper Elite has been using, really good implementation of that. Nice to see more of The Division gameplay, can't wait for the rest of the shows.Edit: Cuphead, not Cupman.
Finally. This is the only thing that has completely blown me away so far of the E3 coverage (and I don't count CGI'd up trailers). Rest of E3........one big bag of bleh.
Oh by the way this came out last week. Star Citizen's true first taste of game play and only a small fraction of this module (It's a dog fighting game that will exist inside the permanent universe. A game within a game). And yes that's all in engine and looks like that on my 55" tv hooked up to my computer.
I'm excited for the Ratchet & Clank remake and the Master Chief collection. There are others, but people have mentioned them already. Oh, LBP3 should be great too.
So... that might not be Link in the Zelda trailer. Someone on Reddit made the discovery that the gauntlets "Link" is wearing in the trailer are exactly the same design as the ones Ganondorf wears in Ocarina of Time...
Yes, it's scripted, but it's a demonstration of everything that can happen in the game. None of it is faked.
Noticed at one point they said terrorists are camping outside - can't extract hostage at initial break in point. Also, noticed that terrorists can go outside but it appears BluFor can't follow them outside. Probably to balance gameplay or something, but wouldn't the house be surrounded by cops? Would also suck if you can just break in, get the hostage and leave. Wonder what the actual mechanics are. Reminds me of my first FPS game that I played online - SWAT 3. Good memories. Will keep an eye on this game.
My thoughts exactly, its a residential area, not a hostile base in Afghanistan. All you have to do is watch the ammo counter in the lower right to see that it can't truly be in-game footage. But like every game, you just have to see what it plays like when its actually released.
