riiiiight... I just think it's funny that Madden 09 (which launches August 12th) has gone gold. http://www.gamespot.com/6192986 That's right ladies and gentlemen... A sports title that's a month and a half away is heading to the printing press. In comparison, your typical big-named game usually goes gold a week or so before launch. Good news (i guess) is that the game usually leaks soon after going gold. So maybe I'll get it soon. Also, Mass Effect went gold pretty damn long before launch too...
lol yea... Also about mass effect 2, i got a friend who works for them. He said they have fixed around combat some I guess more intense, and he also said this game will trump the first one. Hes excited about working on it. He also has said he hasnt seen anyone from EA there supposedly they are keeping out of biowares affairs.
If it's junk and you can't or won't do anything about it, might as well get it out of your sights sooner.
One of the comments in that article says that 2K devs worked on this year's madden. Is this really true?
online leagues is a pretty kewl feature...and online fantasy draft. so which system is the one to buy for PS3 or 360?
If true, then it's very likely just former 2K employees, and as such they're just doing the typical grunt work. Don't expect Madden '09 to play like an NFL2k game.
I am actually looking forward to Tecmo Bowl for the DS more than this. I have a feeling this is going to be another year that lacks what Madden '05 had franchise/owner mode wise (yes, I know I keep on harping on that issue)... CHECK IT OUT: http://kotaku.com/5011541/tecmo-bowl-screens
YOU'RE SO DUMB!!!! HAHAHAH DUMB GUY!!!!!!!!! Dumb! Going gold means that the game is complete and is being printed and boxed. Essentially, it means the game is done development.
duly noted...and post reported! so that makes your original post all the more meaningful now. Its unbelieveable that they are so far away from the official release, yet they are considering the game "complete". EA continues to baffle me. ok i didn't report you...though I'm sure you don't care!
Refers to the creation of a master reference disc used to manufacture the game. This disc is gold-colored. Thus, gone gold.
