Paciencia Deej, White did have that 55 yd pass to Ginn in Atlanta, it takes time for a young guy to get up to speed.
well if ever there was a non sequitor that was it..............ive been waiting three years to use non sequitor in a sentence....thanks
ok stitch. To think Pat cant make that throw out of the wildcat, hmm, I know you dont like the player, justifiably so at this point, we both projected he could'nt become a proset qb, but i do believe there are a lot of throws he can make out of the wildcat if were patient..
The vick handoff when replayed and pointed out by collinsworth, illutsrates the point about the vision required to run the cat, has to be special, its why I talk about ronnie being so brilliant in it..He never looks at the snap into his hands, he's always watching the defenders, and he never muffs or bobbles the exchange.
True we need to secure Brown he is special. The injury prone comments are lame broke bones are nothing like strains and pulled muscles.
Well he didn't make any sort of good throw in all of his pass attempts, so I'd say I'm closer to being right (not that I am) at this point. Maybe in 7 years White can make that throw too, but the fact would still remain that Vick's arm has always been one of the best.
Vick's arm has always been one of the best at what? He is and has always been a mediocre passer, nothing better.
the one thing I'll say thats differrent about this game then the last one is Dallas is a legitimate Super Bowl contender. They have a chance at running the table
I agree about vick, we know darn well pat can throw the football, to me, its more like, can he find his happy place, and let the game slow down for him.
Pat had his most time on the field against a very good def (Pitts). What i saw he never had a chance to slow down to look around. He has guts and wants to play hopefully he will get some opportunities with 2 to 4 seconds to look down field before having to make a decision to run.
I didn't say anything about Vick being a good passer. With a flick of the wrist he can get a ball 70 yards downfield. So yes, his arm has always been one of the best. Accuracy is a completely separate issue.
Man, the Cowboys went from a team that couldn't win once the calendar hit December to a team that looks unstoppable.
They will need to guard against overconfidence and complacency big time now. You cant afford to face a team in the playoffs like that or you will get destroyed. The big difference from years past is the defense and offensive lines. Romo actually has not been a heinous player in late season as some try to portray him. Defensive collapses and OL woes have beaten Big D before. If they can keep those 2 units rolling, the offensive playmakers will put points on the board.
They're an exceptionally talented team putting it together, there's no scarier combination especially when you have a strong pass rush. A San Diego-Dallas Superbowl would be very exciting and would in some ways show what Parcells hopes the Dolphins become as far as scheme, personnel etc... They should cut a part of the Lombardi trophy and send it to Parcells for his part in finding talent along with Ireland. Dallas was barren before Parcells infused that team with a plethora of talented all over the board. By the way Brooking is an interesting character. I never understood why he was so ignored in free agency. Perhaps Urlacher becomes the next Brooking in a 3-4, although I'd say Brooking can clear the trash better.
