*Laurie Steps To Podium*
5 NFC Championship games. 4 Consecutive Division Titles. A regular season record of 108-67-1....
Yet a post-season record of no super bowl wins.
This is what Andy Reid has been able to accomplish here in his time as an Eagles head coach. That is why it is clear Andy Reid needs to focus more on Head Coaching and not so much as being Vice President of Football Operations. It was a tough decision to make, but I feel like I've made the right decision in hiring two well accredited men to help guide this franchise to make this missing pieces for a legitimate super bowl run.
Gish has a little more experience than the other, but gap has a knack for incredible orderliness and planning. I have seen the two work well enough together to know that there is already a game plan in place and they are going to do what is absolutely best to bring a Lombardi Trophy to the great city of Philadelphia.
With that being said here's one half of the tandem. The other may or may not be speaking shortly.
*gap steps up*
It's clear to me that over the years this team just can't make that final step. What is it? Is it coaching? The record is pretty impressive. There needed to be a few minor changes, a few power moves, but other than that I believe that our coaching situation isn't all that bad. Some people needed less responsibility and others more. I feel it's more a talent related issue. There are some holes to fill and some overall game plans that need to be reworked.
Film will have to be looked at, but there is a direction in mind. There are positions and players who will be looked over down to every last detail.
Long standing members may or may not be around. We haven't really come to that decision yet, but no doubt about it we have talent on this roster.
There will be more said when we have more time to sit down. And now I leave you to gish if and when he makes an appearance.

Thanks gap! and thank you Lurie. While I don't agree that the Eagles have won 4 consecutive NFC East Titles; this past season was exciting.
Gap and I are proud to be Eagles. We have always had a great respect for this organization; including the team, fans, and community. It's a rich tradition, filled with great accomplishments and victories. However, Gap and I are here to give the Eagles that one thing they have yet to own, a Lombardi. We're not here to rebuild this team. Donovan McNabb is our quarterback. Andy Reid is our head coach. We've got a bunch of young talent to build on. Our focus will be adding the core pieces needed to prepare this team for every challenge that lies ahead on the Championship path. I'd like to thank the Eagles for this opportunity. But not now. I'd like to thank them in February, with a Super Bowl title.
Thanks. Good day. -

Are there enough cheese steaks in the city of Philadelphia to help Andy Reid get over another let down season?

GIK34 via e-mail: Rumor has it that you are banning Santa Claus from future Eagle games, is that true?

We have yet to take a look at our roster. Only after we discuss internally will we begin to discuss trades with other GMs.
I'm sure once that time comes we will discuss all options available to us.
